The professional contractors represented by LA/NECA and the
skilled electricians of the IBEW are The Team That Works. They're
the team that's trained, qualified, and competitive. They have
the expertise and skills you need for your important projects,
large or small.
LA/NECA and the IBEW work together in a unique Labor-Management
cooperative effort that funds the joint electrical training program.
Our electricians are trained to the highest standards of excellence
through a rigorous five-year apprenticeship program. Apprentice
electricians must complete over 9,000 hours of classroom and supervised
on-the-job training in order to achieve the status of "journeyman
electrician." In addition, their skills remain state of the
art through continuing journeyman education classes on the latest
codes, technology, and safety issues.
Union apprentices receive extensive hands-on training both in
the classroom and on the job. This training and expertise mean
that when you hire The Team That Works, you're getting the team
that delivers - the team that will make your next project a success.
LA/NECA contractors and IBEW electricians work together with you
to meet the unique challenges of your project, and provide the
skills necessary to help make your job more cost-effective and
energy-efficient.
When you make the decision to use a NECA/IBEW contractor, you
can be sure that you're getting a qualified team that is committed
to quality and safety through excellence in training.
