The LA/NECA staff, together with their outside consultants, are available to members for consultation on any business-oriented problems. License law, labor law, wage and hour law, taxes, internal management, employment, arbitration, financing, compliance, and contract interpretation are some of the problem areas to which members seek consultation and advice. Numerous business aids and specially designed business forms for the electrical contractor can be purchased through the chapter office.

Pricing sheets, tool and equipment check sheets, pre-job conference check lists, service work orders, take-off sheets, requisitions, daily job journals, conduit and wire summaries, and estimating summaries are but a few of such forms which are available.

In addition, LA/NECA members receive a personal copy of the NECA Manual of Labor Units. This manual helps our members estimate their jobs utilizing the most widely accepted up-to-date scientific techniques.
